Benefits
What sets this practice apart from general legal advice.
Inheritance matters are different from most legal instructions. They sit at the intersection of law and long-term family care. We built moradokq around that difference.
Return to HomeCore Advantages
Six things clients consistently value
Time given to every meeting
Appointments are not back-to-back. Each client is given the time the conversation requires, however long that takes.
Documents written for families
Wills and estate plans are drafted in plain language. A relative who has never read a legal document should be able to understand the will without assistance.
Fixed fees, stated in advance
All three services are priced at fixed fees in Thai Baht, agreed before work begins. No time-based billing. No additions for correspondence or revisions.
Expertise specific to Thai succession law
Our focus has always been inheritance and estate matters. We do not also practise commercial, criminal, or employment law. Succession is the only area.
Plans that can be kept current
Annual review is built into our estate plan service. Documents are updated as circumstances change — without requiring a full restart each time.
No obligation after the first meeting
Clients leave the initial consultation with a written summary of options. There is no pressure or obligation to proceed. The document is theirs to keep regardless.
Professional Expertise
A practice focused entirely on succession
General legal practices handle inheritance as one matter among many. At moradokq, succession law is the only work we do. Fifteen years of focused practice means a depth of knowledge that informs every consultation — from how the Civil and Commercial Code applies to a specific family configuration, to how Thai courts have handled contested estates in similar situations.
Our counsel hold Thai Bar Association membership and maintain current knowledge of developments in succession and family law. Clients benefit from advice that is grounded in current practice, not general principles.
What this means for clients
- Advice grounded in Thai succession law, not adapted from general principles
- Awareness of how courts have approached comparable cases
- Clear identification of where cross-border considerations arise
- Current Bar Association membership and continued professional development
Our documentation standard
- Every document reviewed against a plain-language standard before client presentation
- Technical terms defined within the document itself
- Optional personal letter of explanation for relatives, drafted with the client
- Draft reviewed line by line before signing
Service Excellence
Client care at every stage
Most clients come to this kind of instruction with little experience of legal documentation. We do not expect clients to bring prior knowledge. The consultation is a listening session. The written work is explained before it is finalised. Clients are encouraged to ask questions at each stage and to take the time they need.
Scheduling is managed to ensure that appointments are not rushed. Where a client would prefer to meet by telephone or video rather than in chambers, this is straightforward to arrange.
Value and Pricing
Fixed fees — no surprises
All three services at moradokq carry fixed fees confirmed in writing before any work begins. The initial consultation is 4,500 THB and covers the meeting and a written summary. Will drafting and witnessing is 8,600 THB. The comprehensive estate plan is 14,200 THB and includes the first annual review.
There are no time-based charges. Correspondence around scheduling, follow-up questions after a meeting, and draft revisions are not billed separately. The fee stated is the fee charged.

What Sets Us Apart
Three things that do not change between clients
01
Senior attention on every file
Instructions are not passed to junior staff. The counsel who takes the first consultation leads the work throughout. The caseload is managed to make this possible.
02
The personal letter of explanation
For will instructions, we offer to draft a short personal letter from the client to their family, to accompany the legal document. It sets the context in the client's own words, so the will is easier to read calmly at the relevant time.
03
A plan designed to evolve
The comprehensive estate plan is designed as a working framework, not a fixed configuration. It carries a built-in annual review and is written so that sections can be updated without reworking the whole document.
